Andrew Tarvin is an Humor Engineer. He teaches people how to enjoy their jobs more while doing them better. Andrew has worked with thousands of people from 100+ organizations, including P&G, GE, and Microsoft, on topics ranging from mastering office communication to humor in the workplace. He is a best-selling author, has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, TEDx, and FastCompany, and has delivered talks in 45 states, 12 countries, and 3 continents. He loves the color orange and is obsessed with milkshakes.
As a transplant yankee landing in Richmond Virginia, Christine Walters realized the many benefits of improvisation and began CSz Richmond Theater in 1996. Since then, she has been teaching and practicing the "Art of Yes And” to corporations, organizations, churches, and schools. She and her business partner Dave Gau also co-wrote the booklet The Art of Yes And. Christine is also certified by the Applied Improvisation Network.
Dave has spent much of the last two decades helping businesses and groups in the mid-Atlantic region learn the value of Applied Improvisation, both on and off-stage. Based in Richmond, Virginia, he is also the founder of the animation and visual effects company ShaveFX, regularly using the skills he teaches with clients and employees. He is a managing partner at the CSz Richmond Theater, where he is co-developing a grant-funded program to use Applied Improvisation in the field of dementia care for both patients and caregivers.
James Thomas Bailey has been a leading trainer in Applied Improvisation for more than two decades. His clients include Google, SONY, Yahoo, Hulu, Walt Disney, Nestle, Coca-Cola and more. He is also a Cultural Specialist for the US State Department where he uses Applied Improvisation for both business and cultural training overseas.
Jeff Kramer is the Founder and CEO of CSz San Jose, the producers of ComedySportz, the longest-running show in the Silicon Valley. For the last 25 years Jeff has built a reputation as a premier corporate trainer, using the principles of Applied Improv to help companies including Apple, Google, eBay, Paypal, Facebook, LinkedIn, and hundreds more.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Patrick has worked with over 400 companies since 1989, including Apple, Nike, Intel, Google and more. He's fascinated by both good and bad customer service, and obsessed with helping your company improve. Patrick has co-written a couple of books on Applied Improv for business - Jill and Patrick's Small Book of Improv for Business and Yes, And Your Customer Service. He has an MFA in Stage Direction from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and is also certified by the Applied Improvisation Network.
Rachel has been working in the field of performance development and communication for over 20 years and is a credentialed Leadership and Communication Coach. She uses Applied Improvisation to assist individuals and business teams in areas such as leadership development, team building, executive presence, change management and creativity and is a contributing author to the book “Words of Wisdom” along with Brian Tracy and Dr. John Gray. Rachel is a native of Canada where she received her MBA degree and is currently based out of Detroit, Michigan.
